for my final portfolio i had to reshoot my food shot. I decided to not try and photograph cupcakes but instead i shot a peanut butter and banana sandwich mmmm

today in studio class we learned all about portraiture and how to make it look interesting.

Final website done

For awhile now we've been learning all about html and flash in my mutlimedia class.
To pass this course we have to create a website from scratch.
Im actually quite pleased with my final website i like how plain and simple it is.

man this project is killing me,
photoshopping eyes are actually the hardest thing to do and im pretty sure i did it wrong but im pretty proud of how far i've gotten with it.

Today i started to edit my Movie Poster, it's actually starting to come together..slowly.

Finally shot my movie poster on thursday night, turned out alright. It's going to take forever to edit though.
Of course my props broke as soon as i got to school, my crown broke in half. But i somehow managed and just taped it all up. I'll post some of the pictures soon.
And my god, Natalie Portman has a huuuge forehead.

Trees Concert

This friday i went and saw Trees, Braids and Long, Long Long at Mavericks. A lot of people showed up and all the bands were amazing. Here are some shots that i took of Trees, i'm quite pleased with them. Taking pictures of bands are actually really hard to do.

I chose the theme "dreams" as mine and i will try to re create some of my dreams that i have dreamed.

Hi my names Caitlin, i'm 19 years old and i'm a student photographer at Algonquin college in Ottawa Canada. This will be my last semester here and hopefully it'll be a smooth transition from school to work. My dream would be to work for a fashion magazine.
